Winners of Creative Arts Primetime Emmys announced

HBO's acclaimed drama John Adams, AMC's award winning Mad Men, NBC's 30 Rock, and SCI FI's fan favourite Battlestar Galactica were just some of the shows that took home Creative Primetime Emmys this weekend. The Creative Arts ceremony will be followed by the main Primetime Emmy Awards event, which takes place on September 21 and will be broadcast on ABC, with Neil Patrick Harris (Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog, How I Met Your Mother) and Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) hosting. Television Critics announce 2008 TCA Awards nominees

The Television Critics Association has released the list of the nominees for this year's TCA Awards. The awards will be presented on Saturday, July 19. AMC's Golden Globe winning series Mad Men, which returns for a second season on July 27, and the final season of HBO's crime drama The Wire are leading the pack with four nominations each.
