The nominations for the 21st European Film Awards were announced at the Seville European Film Festival.
With five nominations each, Paolo Sorrentino’s Il Divo and Matteo Garrone’s Gomorrah are leading the pack this year.
The 1,800 European Film Academy (EFA) members will now cast their votes and the winners of the 2008 EFA Awards will be announced at the Awards Ceremony in Copenhagen on December 6.
