The nominees for the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced earlier today.
Notably absent on the list of best dramas is Battlestar Galactica. This, along with the failure to include Mary McDonnell on the list of best actresses, is probably the single most unforgivable omission this year.
(And seriously, Lost? The most shameless perpetual teaser of a show that has ever hit television screens gets nominated and Galactica doesn’t? Oh well. At least they didn’t include Grey’s Anatomy to really rub it in this year.)
Hopefully they’ll redeem themselves next year, when the show returns for its final run.
