The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards were presented a day after the Oscar announcements. Richard Linklater’s Boyhood was the big winner of the evening, taking home four awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Young Actor.
Birdman also took home several major awards: Best Actor, Actor in a Comedy, Acting Ensemble, Cinematography, Score, Editing and Original Screenplay. The Grand Budapest Hotel won the awards for Best Comedy, Art Direction, and Costume Design.
