The London Film Critics’ Circle presented the awards for the best achievements in film in 2008 on Wednesday. Darren Aronofsky‘s The Wrestler, starring Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei, was named the best film of the year, while Danny Boyle‘s Slumdog Millionaire took home the award for Best British Film.
