The nominees for the Hugo Awards for the best works in the science fiction and fantasy genre were announced yesterday. There are two Hugo categories relevant to the film and television industry: Best Dramatic Presentation (Long Form) and Best Dramatic Presentation (Short Form).

The members of the 2008 World Science Fiction Convention (to be held in Denver) have until July 1 to cast their votes. The winners will be announced at the Hugo Awards Ceremony on August 8.
